WARNING PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY THE ATTACHED SPEC SHEET BEFORE ATTEMPTING CONNECTIONS ESPECIALLY THE ALIGNMENT SECTION. POWER MUST NOT BE APPLIED UNTIL AN ANTENNA OR DUMMY LOAD HAS BEEN CONNECTED. NON CONNECTION OF EITHER WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE OUTPUT SECTION, RENDERING this MODULE NON-RETURNABLE. 15 WATT FM TRANSMITTER WITH 5 RF STAGES DESCRIPTION 15 WATT FM TRANSMITTER WITH 5 RF STAGES DESCRIPTION 15 WATT FM TRANSMITTER WITH 5 RF STAGES DESCRIPTION This is a powerful FM transmitter with 5 RF stages, for greater stability and trouble free operation. Like all the ADR series of kits it comes pre-assembled and you only have to make the external connections and the adjustments for your desired frequency. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Working voltage 14 - 18 VDC Current drawn 2.5 - 3.5 A Output power 15 - 18 W Operating frequency: 80 - 110 MHZ CONNECTIONS The connections to and from the circuit are few and simple to do. The power supply is connected across the two points marked (+) and (-) on the board, the AF signal from a mixer or a preamplifier is connected at the two points marked (IN) and the antenna is connected at the point marked (OUT 50 R) ALIGNMENT Connect first of all the antenna and then tune into your desired frequency. Adjust all the trimmers in the same order as they appear in the parts list for the best SWR reading in your instruments, while at the same time you get a good output power reading. Repeat the process two or three times to fine tune the transmitter.
WARNING: If the transmitter is operated without having previously connected an antenna to its output stage the latter could be damaged. Make sure before you operate the transmitter that an antenna or a suitable dummy load has been connected across its output and that all the heatsinks have been fitted to the power transistors. COMPOSITE VIDEO KIT Converts a standard composite video signal into separate H sync, V sync and video.
