Registering
Before you can bid you must register with us. You can register just to receive Emails when we will keep you up to date with what is happening. However if you want to bid we need your Full Registration Details which will include options for your method of payment (not needed). These will be entered via our secure server to ensure confidentiality. You can however telephone or fax your payment details.
Keep note of your login and password as these are needed to bid.
Read our Privacy Statement to see our policy on client confidentiality.
Now you have registered.
You can now make bids in the auction after replying to the email we send you. We need this to confirm your email address.
Find a product that you are interested in from the category or full product listing and go through to the bidding form. Here will be displayed the full product details, warranty and shipping arrangements as well as the current winning and losing bids. The next bid is already filled in for you although you can make this any amount you desire.
Fill out the quantity that you want if there is more than one item on offer. If you are bidding for more than one then you can also state whether you want to accept partial or complete fulfillment.
If you want you can fill in an amount in the maximum bid section. If you do this and any subsequent bid outranks you then your bid will be raised up to but not above your maximum to match that bid and you will be sent an email notification.
Click on Submit and your bid will be registered and the screen redisplayed with the new information. Hopefully your bid will appear as a winner unless someone is using the autobidding system.
Should your bid be substantially higher than a previous bid then you will be alerted to this in case you made a mistake and you will be asked to confirm this bid by clicking on the submit button again.
Winning bids are ranked by price, quantity, and time of bid.
You will receive an email should someone outbid you or if you are a winner at the end of the auction.
Good Bidding
Making and Raising Bids
How do I make a bid?
Follow our guideline in our bidding and registration guide to learn how to make a bid and how bids are ranked
Can I check on bids I've made in the past?
Yes -Go to our Historic bids page where you can check out past bids and compare them against the winning bid.
Can I bid on more than one item at the same time?
Yes. But if you win more than one item make sure that your credit card limit can cover this.
I entered a winning bid but was beaten at the same price - Why?
You can be outbid at the same price for several reasons.
I was outbid by a lower bid - Why?
This should only happen if you bid for more than one item and stated that you wanted all or none. If so then lower bids will be accepted if your bid cannot be fulfilled. E.G if there are 10 on order and you bid for all 10 at £90 the a single bid of over £90 will mean that you don't get any, even if all other bids are below £90.
